Anyone Else Having Problems Getting Ressies for Thanksgiving? Updated!

My DU agent just emailed me that there was no availibilty for 1900 Park Fare or the LLT for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. I am having her check on Ohana, Chef Mickey and Cape May now. Haven't heard back from her yet.

Anyone else having problems getting reservations for Thanksgiving Day? I am starting to panic a little!

Here's the update. Sue Ellen was able to get us dinner at 5:30 for Ohana's. What relief at least we will have dinner someplace that day! It's a great time, too!

I got LTT for Thanksgiving at 5:50pm. I called at 7:05 this morning. Was on hold about 3 minutes or so. The CM did say things were starting to book really fast. Hope you get you PS soon.

I got a 7:30PM at Park Fare this morning for Thanksgiving. I called at 7:00AM and was on hold for thirty minutes.

I was on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes. By the time I talked to a CM all early PS for Chef Mickey's was gone. My 3 year old couldn't wait till 8:00 to eat dinner. Oh well. Maybe someone will cancel.

I am still waiting to hear back from my DU agent. I am starting to think that it is not looking good for dinner reservations anywhere. Guess we'll just wait and see. Otherwise I will just start praying that someone with a party of 5 cancels somewhere.

After a hold of 1hr and 22 mins we got 1900 Park Fare for 5:00pm. I can't believe the hold times anymore. I'm starting to see why some people are turned off by Disney. And this is coming from a DVC owner and certified Disney freak.

I called at 7am and was on hold for 12 minutes. I got LTT for lunch at 11am and Chef Mickey's for dinner at 8pm (had to do late because DH must watch the Dallas Cowboys game).

We are staying at the Contemporary so decided to have T-day at the Concourse Steakhouse. I called at about 3, was on hold for about 2 minutes and got exactly what I wanted. Now if only I had been able to get a room discount that easily.....

I just called and could have had Garden Grill, my first choice.
I think part of the key is flexibility.
If you call and want PS' for a large group and it HAS to be at a certain restaurant for a certain time, then there may be an issue. Just depends on how popular the restaurant, etc.

I called around 11:30am for PS at Whispering Canyon... They were booked up through 6:50p.. I little later than I wanted, but close enough.

Emailed DU agent again telling her to get us what she could at whatever time she could. Still haven't heard back from her. Thinking of calling myself; as I don't know that by tomorrow there will be any full service restaurants left! Looking like the food court or counter service for us right now.

Will start calling first thing in the morning if I don't hear back from Sue Ellen. Maybe we will get lucky.

Congrats to all those of you that got what you wanted. Second guessing not making my own PS now.

We started calling at 7:00 AM and got throught at 7:03. Was on hold for one hour. I wish I understood the waiting que better, since some of you didn't have to wait as long as some of us. We got what we wanted. Prime Time Cafe for 6:00PM. Wanted that homey feel for Thanksgiving.

I just called at 7:30pm and got the WCC for 7:40, much later than what I wanted but that was the earliest they had. Also, didn't realize had to leave a CC for a holiday dinner. Hate being locked in to something!

i called around 10:30 Am and was on hold for 15 mins. LTT was sold out, Chef Mickey's- after 8 pm only which is too late, so we are eating at the Crystal Palace at 3:30 PM. I was satisfied with it since it has a buffet of thanksgiving dinner AND non-Thanksgiving food, as well.
I was amazed how much was sold out in the morning...

We got RFC for lunch, didn't have any problem. But, than again we'd decided to do something 'different' for Thanksgiving dinner.

Last year at this time they were only taking LTT ressies through 5:45pm becuase MK park hours were not yet posted.

As soon as MK park hours were post... we may be a month away from now... additional seating will open up. Watch for MK November hours to be posted, then try again.

I can tell I am not taking our next trip too seriously. I am not obsessing about PS like usual.
I thought I was supposed to call today for Thanksgiving day.Oooppss! But I got what I wanted. We got our first choice of O'Hana at 7:20 for 7 people. Boy was I shocked when I realized I called a day late!
We also got Crystal palace for Breakfast at 10:30 for 7 people.
Wow! I'm happy now.
