Anyone else have the spinning circle of death?

I got my reservation (very surprised), the hold on tight, we're almost there, then spinning circle, then Dwarfs. Now, trying again, only spinning circle.
I was almost there.

It's very slow, but I did get on. Not able to get to anything else, though. I signed off. Even that was unbearably slow and never completed.

Yes. Was trying to bank points and had to reload the page several times over the course of 15 minutes before I finally got in. Now it is spinning again.

I was modifying a reservation and got all the way to the end then spinning circle and dwarfs. For a while I kept getting the spinning circle but when I finally got things to load again I saw that my modification had gone through.

I was booking grand Californian for august and I got all the way through to confirm the reservation and got the dwarves and now I can’t get my dashboard to load to see if it went through or if I need to start over. Argh so frustrating!!

The date I needed to modify became available at 8am. Couldn't get to my dashboard to modify. I kept getting redirected to the membership page. Now the date is gone again. To say I'm angry is an understatement. Nothing like paying all this money to be constantly irritated when trying to plan a vacation.

Yes, Disney IT was always bad. I Never had problems with DVC site. They don't want to spend the money on bandwidth. Who are we supposed to blame?

Yep. I am not a Chapek fan, but not everything is his fault. I am confident in saying that he isn't overseeing the DVC website.

I just tried to go back on and was greeted with the option to take the survey. Bad timing, DVC...bad timing. LOL. I feel bad for whoever has to read that survey.

I'm sure they will just ignore all the surveys completed during whatever this is. Hope it at least makes you feel better to vent.

IMO, this is entirely the fault of DVD - the sales portion of the division. They are the ones who decided we should have all these constantly changing booking rules & discount restrictions. If everyone had the same booking rules & discount restrictions, the software would be much, much easier to maintain, and it would be much easier to integrate it with the myriad of ever-changing Disney subsystems out there. YMMV.
