Anyone else hate their job, boss, coworkers?

I love the organization for which I work. I love my staff. It's my boss that I'd like to see in complete and utter financial ruin.

I've had about all I am going to take of him. I have 4 pages of documentation that shows the hostile work environment he's created. I plan to present it to HR in May after he is back from a conference that I should be at instead of him because I'd actually work at it and he sees it as a free drinking gig in Vegas and then he goes on vacation. I'll get him when he gets back.

His problem with me? He says I'm smarter than he is and he's afraid that one day I'll make him look bad. He's jealous of my DH who also works for the organization and bad mouths him whenever possible.

Thing is, I've been employed here since 1988. I don't want to go anywhere else. He's here 20 years and my documentation references things to prove his personal problems with me since 1989. He's just become such a royal butthead over the past 2 years that I can't work for him anymore.

I plan to win this thing.

DH is another story. He absolutely hates his job. He has been looking for another job for a long time and has an interview this afternoon. . Anyway, back to the current situation. There sales doubled last year, DH is in accounting so that meant his work load increased. It is only him and someone else in the dept. They handed out bonuses last month-- the general mgr got $100,000 bonus, DH- the acctg mgr got $0 because they said he has a bad attitude. Well if they worked their butt off without ever getting recognized they would get an attitude too.

I really hope he gets a new job soon. The current one is making him sooo unhappy.
