Anyone else going November 2012??

Hello,

This is my first post on the website. My wife and I are planning on visiting WDW b/w the dates of Nov. 11th - Nov. 17th 2012. We went last July 4th, 2011 and it was extremely crowded and miserably hot. We decided to go back this year when the weather is a little cooler and hopefully the crowds are a bit smaller. My question to all you vets out there is are the crowd levels at this time low and is the weather a bit better. We still enjoyed our time at WDW last July, but we felt like we missed out on a lot because of the heat.

Also, have not received a PIN yet. I have two saved trips and have registered and sent off for the vacation video. Are these the appropriate steps in hopefully getting a PIN?

I'm going November 25th through December 2, 2012. I booked in August, and still have no PIN either. I'm hoping they'll put out a free dining or percentage off the room code in the upcoming months.

I've been to WDW in the second week of November and it wasn't too bad as far as crowd levels. But of course, it's WDW, it's always gonna be crowded to some extent.

I know that summer is crowded because most kids are out of school during then.. but any time you get the chance to get away during a time when school is typically in session, and avoid holidays (by that, I mean literally ON the holiday itself, not around that time) you should have a much better chance at low crowd levels.

As for weather, we found that it's still shorts and tshirt weather during the day, and maybe jeans and a sweatshirt weather in the evening. Of course, there's always the chance that there's some record lows or record highs that year.. but on average, it's as I mentioned.

Yes, usually it's being decorated during the first week of November.

The Christmas decorations should be up.

As for discounts, you've done all you can do for now..except maybe keep logging in weekly to price and save different packages.

I'm hoping for an October code. I called this morning to see if anything was out there, but a I got a CM that must not have had her morning dose of caffeine...or Disney magic. She told me that 'ummmm ::sigh:: maybe there would be discounts in July.'

I think we might see some for the fall before then...but that's just a feeling I have since some folks are already getting pins for the fall and early winter.

Going Nov 27th to Dec 4th to celebrate my 40th Birthday! I'm so excited but am not sure how I'll make it another 9 month! We're staying at the Swan/Dolphin.

We are also doing our first November trip. Por Nov 9th- 18th unless we get free dinning or 30 % off pin then it's BC. I didget a10%pin but would like FD . We want to go to MVMCP . So I will keep calling the cm and asking about pins obsessing over the boards saving trips. As I told Dh I am going to get a discount if it kills me.

I'm going the exact same time you are and yes, it's a wonderful time. I've been in the summer, I've been in early December, I've been in September....my favorite week so far has been the 11th-17th (ish) (I went last year during the same week). The decorations are up, the weather is warm and the crowds are not bad at all. I'd still love to go in early spring to see what that's like (not spring break time but somewhere around there).
