Anyone else go to Lititz PA for the.....

big craft fair the second week in August? I've been going for four years and I'm so excited it's almost time to go again. They have the best stuff there and my DH doesn't complain about what I spend because I bring him back Wilbur chocolates from the factory. I was wondering if I should put a lime green ribbon on my backpack in case any DISers are gonna be there

I'm close to Lititz - within a 40 minute drive. I didn't realize they had a big craft fair. I'll have to check into it and check my calendar. With two teenagers, it would be a wonder if I can fit another thing in my schedule but it never hurts to look!!!

Have a wonderful time! Lititz is such a great small town!

I have an Aunt and Uncle who live in Lititz; my mother, another aunt, and cousins in Ephrata. I never knew there was a craft fair in Lititz. I may need to take our rebate check on an excursion!

My DH and I were in Lititz last weekend for the Art Show in Lititz Spring Park. It's a great little town.

We've never gone to the craft show - I hear it's very large and very crowded.

If you need someplace to stay, I recommend the Alden House B & B. It's in the heart of Lititz. We've been staying there for years.

If you go, check out the Herb Shop - and feed the ducks in the park.

The Craft fair is HUGE and spreads from the park down the streets around the railroad station outside the park. There are literally tents as far as the eye can see. We leave NJ around 4:00 a.m. and get there right after they open and stay until lunch. It's not as crowded early but by lunch time it's a mob scene and can get very hot. Unfortunately my friends and I don't stay overnight. We leave the craft fair and have lunch then head to Lancaster for some more shopping then have dinner and head home. It's a long day but we have a blast. If you like craft fairs this is the biggest one I have ever attended, the first year I was so overwhelmed I didn't buy ANYTHING . I haven't had that problem since then . I believe it's their Rotary Club that hosts the fair and its always the second Saturday in August. I'll wear a lime green ribbon and carry my lime green purse DH bought me just in case.
