Anyone else get the holiday blues?

I don't understand this at all but its been happening this way for the last several years. During the month of November, I am so excited about Christmas I can hardly stand it. I want to shop and decorate and I can hardly wait for Thanksgiving to be over so I can start. Then as soon as it all officially kicks off, I get get so down in the dumps that I don't want to do anything. I've got the tree done, thanks mostly to my two teenagers who are still giddy over Christmas, but everything else is in boxes sitting all over and I just can't bring myself to do anything with any of it. The tree is beautiful but I just feel this vague sadness everytime I look at it. For the past few years, this would come and go throughout the season and I could hide it from my family pretty well but I have a feeling this year is different, as they are already asking me what is wrong. I really don't know what to tell them. In the first place, I don't know what is wrong with me and in the second place, I don't want to ruin things for them with my whining or feeling sorry for myself.

Anyone else ever go through something similar? Just curious.
