Anyone else expect more on the last day?

Anyone else expect more on the last day? I expected the stores to be filled with items that were released during VMKs run.What would it have hurt? I wishful thinking thought that maybe they would sell in-park items etc. I even thought that maybe Club 33 would be sold as a room we all could buy (I know that one was real far fetched). I thought that because wasn't the Club 33 table shown in the loading wallpaper that had items that were released (mostly from the past week)? I atleast thought that the items Hula gave away in her morning quest would have been sold (ie Monster Inc lamp).
Also, there are some items that were in the loading wallpaper that I don't think were ever released. I'm just a little disappointd (besides the disappointed that it is the end of VMK).

The number of players online during the evening was running around 3,500 - not even as many as during a busy weekend, at the performance was horrid.

I figured I'd wait until the bitter end to see if there was a pithy change to the "VMK is closed" message, only to have VMK crash at 9:58pdt.

It was 4,000 earlier today around five or so. I remember months ago on the weekends or on fridays it would be 6,000 and that was great. Maybe people couldn't make it or didn't want to see it close. I cannot upload a pic. of it for some reason but the "VMK is closed" message was :

I was hoping for those fun little pop up box messages we got on New Year's Eve this year. That would have been nice.

I was thinking there would be more host party rooms.......and pop up messages. Just like New Year's Eve.

And I really thought we would see more stuff for sale....

and do I dare mention flying carpet magic?

But regardless, I had some nice final moments with my pals...and even my clones.

It is over...time to move on.

I think there were less people on line because the lag was so bad. Unitl VMK never Knew there was such a word. Yes pop up messages would have been nice.

The hosts were trying to get to as many players as they could last night.

For me I managed to see three Host Hula and our quiet time, Host_Fin contantly reminding us with thoughts of encouragement and Host_ Harmony that brought a few special wishes to some VMKer's and me who got her pic as see said Hello Littlebelle.

But most of all the last night was for friends and the cherished memories we will carry a life time. Thoses were the best moments on VMK last night.

Besides being an emotional time for everyone, attempting to say goodbye in that lag was impossible. Visiting your own rooms was impossible. I sort of wish at like 11:00 they would have shut down all host events, dark rides, games and let ppl focus on what was important....friends.

Just my thought.
