Anyone else excited about the West Coast cruises?

hayesktrm, We're pratically neighbors. We are in Canyon Country, just down the road from la Mesa Junior High, if you know where that is.
We (DH, DD 15, DS 10 and myself) are Disneyland veterans, but this will be our first Disney cruise. I'm looking forward to seeing what makes DCL different from other lines. Any guesses as to what special things DCL might do to celebrate DL 50th?

We have cruised 5 times on DCL and we are thrilled that
the Ship is comming out this way, now if Disney takes the
hint, they will add a third ship for us California Dreamers
and make it permanent.

I just got off a 7 Day Western Cruise and scheduled the 14 day transition cruise from Orlando to LA while onboard. I'm so excited. I've sailed the Magic once before on a 3/4 package to the Bahamas. We've always had a wonderful experience on the cruise and are counting down to the trip next May 14th.

Hey Got2GP, yes we are neighbors. My son is 11, turning 12 in October. Going to Placerita in the fall. I am very excited that they are adding the Buzz Lightyear ride for the 50th DL celebration. It was the one ride I really love at WDW that they don't have at DL. Do you have annual passes to Six Flags? It makes me laugh because we are 5 minutes from Six Flags and we don't have annual passes, but we do have DL annual passes.

Hayesktrm, We did have MM passes last year, but it gets so hot in the summer. We usually offer one or the other to the kids, and they have gone back and forth, one year DL and one MM.

Sounds like the 50th will be a lot of fun, our passes expire just as it starts, so we may have to renew! lol

We are on the Cal to Fla repo cruise. I Can't Wait. I am already telling anyone that would give us gifts, to make shore they give us Disney Dollars. It would be like They are paying for part of our fun. Today I even told my boss when he told me good job. I told his I only have one word for him. Disney Dollars.

I am also booked on the final cruise to Mexico before the ship goes back to Florida. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. It can't come soon enough.
