I am wondering if we are the only ones sticking our necks out here and cruising?

I think I've got everything covered though.

We have home Covid test kits from Switch Health. We are staying one additional day at port to do the testing and deal with potential fall out. Booking hotel that will allow us to quarantine if we needed to.

Bought TuGo travel insurance that I am assured will cover Covid medical and Trip Interruption.

Husband taking his laptop, as is our daughter. Both can do their work/classes online from the confines of a quarantine hotel room if necessary.

Interested to hear from others.

I am planning to but not until March. No idea what the rules will be then.

What hotel have you booked? I am thinking I may need to add a day at the end as RCL will no longer be doing on board testing so I will need to figure that out before we can fly home.

I have not booked my after cruise hotel yet as I am looking for a location that would permit us to quarantine there if we test positive. And it must be the type of room that 3 of us won’t go completely nuts if we have to stay for 2 weeks. A kitchenette and balcony for $300 so our insurance will cover it.

Why don’t you look for an Airbnb with a good cancelation. Some have right until the date for example . Rare but they exist

My daughter and I are booked for early February. We have had to move this cruise 3 times so far. We are doing WDW for 5 days then a 4 night cruise. I have been freaking out a bit about the logistics of testing and quarantine.
We both contracted covid on Xmas day. We are double vaxed and doing fine. The silver lining is unless the cruise line cancels us we are going! Free covid pass.

We cruise Feb 26 and plan to fly in four days before and go to WDW, but we're worried about testing positive at the port by being so exposed beforehand. We may move our WDW to after the cruise to be safer.

I would think the same. Don't take any chances. Cruise first, parks second.

I added an extra day to do testing as well. I called a few places that said no quarantining. I booked into Best Western Cocoa Beach (not my first choice for accommodations but) because I called there and explained the situation. The manager said we could quarantine there IF they have availability. The good thing about the BW is they have balconies. I need some fresh air and sunshine if I have to be trapped for a minimum of 6 days. Beyond that, I've got the Covid-19 Call Center for Florida number and will call there for guidance. I know someone indirectly who said there were hotels that had arrangements with the health department to allow people to quarantine there. That number is 1-866-779-6121.

We are cruising Feb 7-11(first cruise ever) then heading to the parks for a week. I admit there have been times that I've thought about rescheduling but selfishly not doing it. I keep thinking if I do reschedule will there ever be the perfect time to go? It seems every time I turn around there is something new out there that puts new fears into traveling. I'm biting the bullet and our "30 day" countdown officially starts in 2 days.

We changed! We fly to Orlando on Feb 25 and head directly to the port to stay at a hotel overnight. We think this is the safest way!
