Anyone else caught the travel bug because of the Fairytale Package?

We just took a quick short getaway trip in February, and that was supposed to tide us over until well into 2004, probably the Fall. But this Fairytale Package... is great! It really is an amazing deal-- I know it doesn't work for some but it is about perfect for us. I'm thinking... hmmm.. maybe we can swing a trip sometime in October....

(I think my husband would divorce me if I brought this up)

(on edit).... and I just noticed Delta is wide open in October on $133 fares right now. What a great deal! Oh, I think I am an addict. This is really a sickness!

We saw it yesterday and I told my husband (we both work at the same place, so we eat lunch together) that we could go for our son's birthday at the end of July. Never mind that we leave on June 14 for two weeks at WDW (part time share presentation - Hilton Grand Vacation Club; part DVC - 6 nights at BCV; part AKL Concierge which we got great AP discounts on). So now, with my three month calendar on the wall, I can look at my two -count 'em two - WDW vacations this summer. Plus we're doing the Marathon in January (staying at DVC).

Our PAP's run out two days before we arrive in July. So we won't need to get new ones until January.

And we just got back from a trip at Christmas time. Our families think we are nutty. We're not telling them about this trip.

GoofyPat,
Assuming you're not joking, just take a look at all the topics on the Disney Resorts board.

Disney's new vacation package gives you seven nights of room and ultimate park hoppers for the price of four nights. Available to general public tommorow. July 4 - October 30.

Tigger is right, every other thread is about it! :D

I had just got into the board when i saw your posting first. I am
always looking for deals at Disney.

Mr Woods, I can see why you thought I was joking. I am getting
all the info now.

Oh, yeah! Actually my trip is already booked, and there is no changing it--we booked through a DVC member and I'm very happy with what we got! But.....I've told everybody I know about this deal. I'm just dying for someone to book it! I wish I were a Disney travel agent!:D

I got the bug, just booked 5 nights (only get one free) but I am going by myself and one week is just too long for me alone.
Airfare from Phila to MCO is just 162.00, I can not wait until the Sept 20th!!!!

See new countdown timer.:teeth:

Actually, I'm glad. I had resigned myself to being practical with my money for the rest of this year, but our trip in February, while good and Disney and all, was something of a let down with DS being in a cast and not able to go on a lot of the rides and not able to swim. So we can make up for it, and hopefully get in on the soft opening of Mission:Space.

Ciao,
Mort.

I've got to type quickly, DH is just getting out of the shower.............................

DS and I are going down on Sat. I plan on checking availability and prices then. If he knew I was considering ANOTHER trip, he kill me! LOL It can't hurt to find out prices, though, right? Heck, I might even go down by myself, but I don't think they can last that long without me. ;)

I took advantage BUT I am also dying for other people I know to book it as well! LOL:o

I've decided to try to be strong, not plan another trip, and pay more attention to my bruised and battered bank account. I don't have to have my head turned by every tarted up Disney discount package in a short skirt that passes my way! I can resist this temptation!

I'll content myself for now with reading everyone else's good deals (or as I call it, "internet porn.")

Jen D,
That's one of the funniest things I've read on these boards in some time. I agree with you. I must resist .. I must resist ..
