Time away may help - but we have a friend with an 8 year old who has NEVER liked going to Disney. We actually spent a day at the MK with them, and he was a real downer - trying to act too old for everything. The kids were really disappointed. It was funny, though, he was acting so old, but then screamed and wouldn't go past the elevator room on Haunted Mansion. My kids thought he was nuts! Anyway - his dad is the same way.... maybe it's genetic? My kids love Disney - but I do think we may be overdoing it a bit with them. I could go all the time - but when I was young, we only went to DL for 1 day every other year. So who knows - maybe it's lost the magic for yours for a while. What the friend did LOVE was hunting for the secrets I printed off the internet, and learning the history of the park. You may want to go that route. Good luck - and it's proabably just a phase. They have a lot of time left to enjoy it with you!
