I heard of those things but really don't know what they are.

I also go into a bank to withdraw money - I've never used an ATM.

Dh and I both have cell phones but don't keep them on - we only use them for emergencies.

i still have my portable cd player, instead of an IPod.

i just got a regular camera for Christmas 2 years ago, you remember....the kind with the film? lol. and still no digital camera. although, we use FFIL's a lot of the time.

and i JUST got a MySpace even tho i've had a Journal for years. of course, i still haven't a clue how to use it, or what it's used for, really. but i think that's my first step to joining the 21st century lol.

anyone else have the same problem? still back in the prehistoric days of film developing and cds??

Dial up sucks but they don't seem to want to offer anything else where I live. I don't even live in the boonies, go figure At least the internet is fast at work

I'm right there with you guys! DH finally bought me a cell phone about a month or so ago and I've used it maybe a dozen or so times--I always forget it when I go anywhere and just finally figured out what the weird chirping sound I've heard a few times is--The phone was dying.

I have a Tivo which I love because I could never figure out the vcr.

I have CD players upstairs and down because I like to crank 80's hair bands while I clean the house--I got DH and DD8 mp3/4 players for Christmas but so far they use them to just listen to the radio because I have no clue how to download music to them.

I have a computer but have no clue how to do stuff on it besides get online and go to the sites I normally visit--Someone here taught me how to get pictures to show up here!

I got a digital camera for my last birthday and while I love it sometimes I miss my 110.

I listen to CD's on my stereo (no portable CD player, though my son got one from Santa), don't have an IPOD, just got a digital camera a little over a year ago, have NO gaming systems (not even handheld gameboys), don't have call waiting (though we have caller ID), our DVD player is a DVD/VCR combo so we don't have to give up all of our tapes. I have a cell phone, but it is a very basic one that doesn't take pictures or play games, and I have no idea how to text message on it.

I don't use the ring-it-up-yourself lines at the grocery store, and I do my business inside the bank instead of using an ATM whenever possible.

One place, however, where I really like technology is that I do a lot of stuff on the internet - shop, pay bills, transfer money in my bank accounts, order prescription refills, etc.

I would NEVER go back to a CD player or a film camera. I hated hauling around the CDs and I would never get film developed.

I don't have Myspace though, and never will.

No Ipod, no portable CD player, no Tivo, no big screen TV, no MYspace, and my Cell Phone is 7yrs old and only costs $15 a month! But I love the Internet and can fix problems on my computer and DH's laptop!

I love gadgets, but I learned something tonight that was news to me. We are moving out of state, and I offered DW to go to the bank to get a check for the balance in our savings account. She asked why, and I said so we can use the money to open a checking account in our new city. She gave me that "poor, poor, stupid DH" vibe and explained to me that we could do that on-line. Well on-line banking isn't news to me(paying utilities, credit cards etc.) but I did not know you could change money from one bank to another. Also, I have a cell phone, but DW and DDs run rings around me on all the features. DW texts her fantasy football buddies throughout the games.

you know what I just figured out yesterday?? you know that game minesweeper?? how it has numbers.....1, 2, and 3?? i JUST figured out that those numbers, are the numbers of mine's around the block!! i played for ages just thinking they put random numbers there for no reason!! thanks to my show Numb3rs i figured it out yesterday! lol.
