Anyone else antsy with anticipation?

My trip is still 3 months away but I am already jittery and nervous. Been on the disboards alot latley absorbing everyone's posts. I have butterflies in my stomach already, it is going to be a tough 3 months for me.

Hey Lustergirl, I'm a former Buffalo resident now living in North Florida! I bet you are counting down to sunny weather!

I am obsessed about planning or packing or preparing for anything and I am always filled with tummy butterflies planning a disney trip! I think I've spent more time reading posts on disney sites than sleeping lately just because its too soon to pack yet. Well I say too soon but I already have one suitcase out to put things in as I think of them or see them around the house. Ponchos, check. Extra mini dvds, check. Disney beach towels, check!

This year I am going to buffalo for my youngest sister's wedding on Sept 12th, then fly home on the 13th, load up the car and its off to Disney on the 14th and a celebration/reception/family reunion trip with my family and the newlyweds. SO I get to paln and pack for a 4 day buffalo trip and a 6 day disney trip. I think its put my butterflies into overdrive

I'm the same way! I've got spreadsheets I've made with all of our reservations, confirmation numbers, packing lists, etc. I sit and stare at these boards more and more every day until my eyes start to cross!!! LOL I absolutely cannot wait for our date to get here!

And not knowing the park hours is not helping! I keep looking at last years, then I look at September for this year...and then I try and predict what October will be for this year.


I am driving myself insane.

I am going for the second time 2 months and am very excited! Last time was 9 days and this time is 5 days I am pretty sure we are going!.

Good Morning All. It is almost 7:30 in the morning and here I am. Got some extra time before work so voila on the disboards I go. Waiting for friday morning to come to make my dinner ressies.

As PPs said, planning is part of the fun of Disney World! Don't worry though, the three months will go by fast & before you know it, you'll be on your way to DISNEY WORLD!!!!

I am antsy now as my ADR day is Sat(7/4).
*Back in Oct '08, I was thinking about a trip, wondering when to go. Happy.
*Heard about the Celeration Theme, and decided to choose Oct '09 for DGS's BDay. Start to plan. Now happier.
*Jan '09, DD books us through DVC points for Oct.'09. Super excited.
*April, booked flights. Woo Hoo!
*May-June, feeling a little lost, but still planning and upping my post count here .
*July, ADRs on 7/4- Have TA Hours posted, well now the butterflies start! So worried I wouln't be able to get what we want, and have to call at 4am our time, and work that day.
*So what about the next 90 days? Hopefully I can just go back to feeling excited.

I am the same way. I was doing the paper chain count down at 150 days. we have 2 more days to go. I get so nervous / excited the few days before

I think planning a trip to WDW must have steps like grief does. Elation at booking, stress of planning, fear with booking ADRs, Elation over getting them, more stress of planning, elation that it is getting closer, and I've hit the fear and worry with 1 week left!
