Anyone else a fan of the British TV Series BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE ?

There was never a lot of episodes created, and it appears it only survived two seasons, but I can never get enough of this fun, crazy, and bizarre series.

Besides the character of Simon, I think the character of his Mom is so outrageous and fun.

Is anyone else a big fan?

Currently it is shown on LOGO.

Great show. It may be a bit early to say it has been cancelled however. British shows often don`t work on such a regular schedule as US shows. And six episodes per season is fairly standard for one of our sitcoms.

Yeah, and the 2nd series is still fairly recently ended isn't it?

Oh, and just to add the series is actually "autobiographical" and is the dramatized life of Simon Doonan, the creative director of Barneys

I loved the show so much, that I watched the video interviews of Simon Doonan available on LOGO online. I should read his book, which the show is based upon.

It is interesting they chose to update the time-line of the TV show to the 1990's.

I was getting a little upset about the subject of gay bullying, even though it was done with humor, but they kind of handled it okay by the end of the 2nd season.

I absolutely love the episodes where they break out into fantasy musical numbers.

I kind of wish this series had a broader audience in the USA and not limited to LOGO.

The character who plays young Simon is getting older, and I would really love them to do another season quickly before he matures any more.

Although it would be interesting to see the series while it historically ages toward the year 2000, and the UK opened up to National Civil Unions and other Gay Rights.

I absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE this show.

Plus I had the honor of seeing Layton Williams (Simon's BFF) a couple of times when he was in Billy Elliot in London. He was AMAZING!
