It is one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando. I still have a Restaurant.com coupon for $25 off a $50 purchase to use which makes it afforable. I don't think they offer those coupons anymore. Without the coupon, dinner would be way too expensive for us. Mains are around $15-20 and getting the soup/salad/app/sushi add on is another $12.
For authenic Japanese food, the food quality can't be beat. I love their Chawan Mushi (egg custard) , soups (miso and udon), tempura, sushi etc. This is the place to try dishes you've heard of but never even seen before, like Matsutake or natto. The menu, which is available to look at online, is a bit scary because it is to authentic. I don't even know what half the items are.
I would encourage you to try it. We split one full course dinner which includes "a main entree of your choice served with miso soup, salad,
a kobachi appetizer, sashimi or tempura appetizer chawanmushi, pickles, rice and dessert". It was plenty of food for two and gave us the chance to try a lot of different items.
They also serve lunch. Their daily special is $15.
