Can you give any feedback on crowds and such? Meals? How long did you stay? Advice?

We'll be there this weekend.

Generally, crowds are nothing like the main parks. Since there is no FP+, get there at park open (10am) and do the "big" stuff first. Then do the lazy river, wave pool, etc... We usually stay 4-5 hours and are done.

I am planning for next Tuesday. Going at park opening, hopefully finding a really good shaded area to "camp" first thing and then hitting the rides. Finding the free shade for 3-4 people is a priority for myself.

was there on Sunday - arrived at 9:45 as usual, hit crush and gush for all 3 and then missadventure falls, two rides on storm slides and then Mayday Falls, and into the lazy river by 11:05. Lunch lines at 12:30 were low (maybe 10 people in line), and heading out for ice cream on the ride home by 2:30. Pretty normal for us on a Sunday.

ETA - there is a lot of shade available throughout the park, but remember that it will move with the sun throughout the day. Some nice covered areas over by Storm SLides / old shark reef, and one right by the waterworks near the wave pool up by the walking path under the cave.
