Anyone done their own hair/make-up for MK Shoot?

Hi! My MK shoot is on a Saturday in October and I'm struggling to find any availability already for hair and make-up! Anyone done their own hair/makeup for the shoot? I'll have to ask for no close ups! Thanks!

I haven't had my Mk shoot yet, but am doing my own hair and make-up for it, and actually am most likely going to do my own hair and deff. my own make-up for my wedding. If your good at doing hair and make-up, I would save the money and do it yourself for the shoot. Practice first!

Thanks for the reply. I emailed a few others today to see if they have availability. I think I'd be ok with the makeup, I'm not great at hair do's though! Lol. Think I'll have to practice lots!

Yeah, I'm the same way: makeup=OK, hair=not so much.... I did my own for the MK shoot and since we had, like, two closeup shots in the whole bunch, you couldn't really tell what a crummy job I did!

If I were doing it now that they actually take closeups in MK shoots, I'd have a professional make me up, but just cuz of my hair issues...
