I've heard great things about the Serengeti Safari when you feed the giraffes, but very little about the Endangered Species Safari.

Has anyone done it, and did you enjoy it?

Thanks! :yay:

I am also interested if anyone has done this one. I called Busch Gardens last week and she said that it was like the regular Serengheti Safari and at the end got to see the rhinos as well. She said you definately get to feed the giraffe on this one as well.

I took the Endangered Species Tour in April. It's a great tour. You start out on the safari vehicle. The giraffes come over to the truck when it stops. They sure do love romaine lettuce. Everyone gets a chance to feed the giraffes and there is a photo op.

Then the safari vehicle drive through the savanna and the guide describes the charaterisics of the various animals you see. The truck proceeds to the Rhino area behind the scenes. You leave the truck to get closer to the rhino enclosure. The keepers are great and very informative.

When we went in April, the cheetahs were on the tour. Depending when you go, they may or may not be on the tour. When the coaster opens they will be moving to their new habitat. They are simply beautiful. Their keepers tossed then some "Meat" popsicles. It was so interesting watching them pounch on the popsicles.

So much information, so many great animals. I would love to do it again.
