Anyone done the Captain Nautica's St. John snorkle excursion??

I cannot decide between the Doubloon excursion and the Captain Nautica's excursion. I have been reading the great reviews on The Doubloon excursion but seen nothing on the other. Has anyone done the Captain Nautica's excursion.

I HIGHLY recommend Captain Nauticas! We had a wonderful time! We picked to do it instead of the other excursions last May because you get to go to two different snorkling spots ( Christmas Cove and Honeymoon Beach) in St John and you get an hour in each place. Most of the other trips only go to one spot and you only get about an hour to 1 1/2 to snorlkle. The places were unbelievably beautiful! So many colorful fish and beautiful coral. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was affraid to get in at first and one of them offered to jump in and swim around with me. We are most likely going to do it again next time. I was going to for sure until I heard the Champagne snorkle lets kids 5 and over go. Last time we had to leave our dd6 on the ship because Captain Nauticas age requirement is 8. She did love staying in the kids club though and Captain Nauticas was so wonderful im still not sure. But I would do it if I were you and enjoy!

Thank you makaylee!! It sounds like fun. Did you do the earlier one or the later one? I am worried about the later one getting back at just 4:30 PM and do not want to miss the ship. How long did it take you to get off of the ship with customes? Were you off by 8:00 AM.

We did the earlier one. We had plenty of time to get through customs and get off the ship. Everyone who is going on the excursion meets at a certain place on the ship (we met a sessions I think), they put color coded stickers on you then walk you to the boat (Captain Nauticas). We were back in enought time to get our daughter out of the club and take a taxi down town to go shopping. If you wanted to take the later trip I wouldnt worry about the time, Im sure they would get you back in plenty of time to get back on the ship. I would also guess that the ship would wait for you since you are on a DCL excursion if on the off chance it was late. Be excited because you are going to have LOTS of fun! Im jealous!
