We're interested in doing this, but I'm wondering if it's worth it. I know you get reserved seating, but are the seats any good? We still get to see the princesses, right? TIA!

I know about the seats you get, we haven't done WoC at all, let alone the AG dining for WoC. but I do know that no, the Princesses are NOT there for the WoC dinner dining, your perk is the preferred seating. I know a lot of our members have done this so I'm someone will let you know how the seats are, I just wanted to let you know that no, you will not see Princesses at dinner, only at bfast and lunch.

The reserved seating isn't really seating, it's for a reserved viewing section. It's good section, but you still need to get there early to get near the railing. There are no princesses at dinner, just breakfast and lunch. I really enjoyed doing this. I thought the food was really good, we weren't rushed, and we got great spots at the railing in the preferred dning section.

Check out the world of color superthread though, it should have all the info you need! The board won't let me link, but if you search WOC superthread, you'll find it.

I wrestled with this whole situation because I have a 5 year old that wants to see the Princesses,& I want a good spot for WOC. I can't do both because WOC is dinner only (no Princesses)! And break/lunch is Princesses but no WOC!:headache: This frusterated me to say the least because I can't afford to pay 40 per person per meal 2 times in our trip to the same place. The other option was to try Wine Country Trattoria but food reviews were not that great. Soo guess who wins, my 5 yr. old yes!:scared1: We are just going to either do the picinic or fastpass for WOC and hope for the best for viewing.

So good luck on the decisions, they aren't easy!;)

No princesses. No seating for WOC. The viewing area is awesome if you get there early. The food was great. :thumbsup2

Here was my review: HydroGuy's World of Color Review

It was totally worth it for us and we had seven people. Other people maybe not.

We got fastpasses and had an amazing view!

I have eaten at Ariel's Grotto for the WOC dining, and I really enjoyed it. They have all you can eat appetizers, yummy entrees, and a selection of mini desserts. I really like that you can have a taste of different things instead of one big dessert. We got pretty decent viewing spots. So, I would recommend this experience.

Thank you everyone for the responses! That stinks that the princesses aren't there at dinner. We were planning on doing "sit down meals" for our dinners. But I guess we might have to make an exception for this one. I guess we'll do lunch there and try to get a fastpass for WOC. Anyone been for lunch?

I totally agree! We're trying to stay within a budget.

We went to Ariel's for our first WOC experience. We thought the food was fine. There were some minor complaints with certain entrees, but overall it was good.

We got there super early for our priority viewing area. We followed the good advice of the boards and got a great view.

We wouldn't do it again though. First because it was a huge bill for my party of 10. We then had to spend our entire evening waiting to get in, just to wait another 30+ minutes for the show. My kids were exhausted and really didn't enjoy it that night. The show is pretty long at 20+ minutes and my kids got tired of standing and straining to see.

I ordered the picnic lunch the next time. The picnics were good and we thought the section (on the bridge in the blue section) was actually better.

That said, I think it will be difficult for me to convince my family to see it at all this year. I think the key to a successful show is planning and getting a good rest. I also think getting FPs in the morning would work out as good as any meal offering. If you have the opportunity to get there in the morning, I wouldn't fool with a picnic or PS.

Why not go to Ariel's for breakfast, picking up a FP along the way? That way you get the character meal and get your section for WOC. Just an idea.
