Hi all,

We are booked on a Royal Caribbean sailing from Fort Lauderdale in January. Considering booking the Disney Dream for the 3 days prior but not sure of the logistics of side-to-side cruises and would love to hear if anyone has done this before? How easy is it to move between terminals? Is there anything I need to consider carefully? We will have a three year old in tow.

Thanks!

I've had clients do side by side cruises before, and it really just depends which terminal your ships are sailing from. Some are close enough together to walk, but I believe DCL and RCCL are further apart. The good news is there are plenty of taxis available to shuttle you. Last time I checked it was a flat rate of $8 to go from terminal to terminal.

At Ft. Lauderdale, the easiest option is to take a taxi from one port to the other. There's no public transit or walkway from the Disney to Royal terminals.
