Anyone done real flowers in their hair?

I've asked Elizabeth, my florist, to sort out large ivory roses for me and my bridesmaids to wear in our hair. I was just wondering if anyone else had done this and had any pics to share. And also, did they wilt during the day or last?

Heidi (tiggerificheidi) put a flower in her hair for her escape ceremony and it looked very nice. I'm not sure about how long it lasted but check out her TR. Make sure to find her escape TR, she is currently planning a wishes wedding. Lucky girl!!!

If you do a flower just do one...don't go overboard and put a ton in your hair..and no babies breath...PLEASE lol! It screams 1990. I was so mad when some girl made me put it in her hair. Way to ruin my hair style lol!

I don't actually know what "babies breath" is! But I'll take your word for it! I was thinking just one big rose on the side of my head. Something like this maybe, but with just one.

lynn..aren't roses heavy?? You need to make sure you have thick hair..I have very thin hair and I think a rose would fall right out

That does look really beautiful! I just have a bit of a roses theme going on so that's why I want a rose. Luckily I have THE thickest hair ever, so I'm sure it will support a rose, but thanks for the advice
