My brother is all the sudden worried about the airport to port transfer (we leave tomorrow morning!) for our Alaska cruise because he is afraid because it is Canada and the US that they will have a different protocol for the buses. I personally am going with the assumption it is Disney and it will be pretty much the same, but it would be a big relief to him if someone who has done it can confirm that they use tie downs for wheelchair on the bus. I cannot imagine it being different than any other Disney situation, but lately he has ended up freaked out from a Hyatt shuttle and the tram at Mesa Verde not having tie downs. There is not anything we can do about it either way, so I just keep telling him they will have tie downs to keep him from worrying beforehand, but it would be nice to know that I am for sure telling him the truth.

I took the transfers from the port in Canada Place to the Fairmont Pacific Rim. I really could've rolled on over to the hotel as it was very close. I had no problems at all. The bus was the same as a DME bus with a large platform lift.---Kathy
