Anyone done a tent trip at the camping area?

Or is there a thread on here about the camping area? Showers facilities, that kind of thing.

There are many tent campers on this board. Tent camping is wonderful at Ft. Wilderness!!

The partial hookup sites are what you need. (Electric and water). Each site has a large area for your tents, a driveway for your vehicle, a barbecue grill and a picnic table. There are garbage cans and recycling bins about every 3 sites and they are emptied multiple times per day.

The comfort stations are great!! Each comfort station has a men's side and a women's side with laundry facilities in the middle.

The bathrooms have 4 or 5 standard toilet stalls and 4 or 5 sinks on one side and further in the back there are 4 or 5 private showers with dressing areas for each shower. There is a hard locking door to the dressing area, then a curtain in between the dressing area and the shower area. There are large mirrors on one wall with a small shelf and multiple plugs for hair dryers, curling irons, electric shavers, etc.

I just wanted to say "thanks" for all the wonderful advice and tips you share with us on this board. I know I really appreciate you sharing your expertise, and I'm sure thousands of others do, too.
