Every thread I see talks about Fantasyland for MM...anyone do the Tomorrowland Rides instead? The reason I ask is the last time we went to Disney Nemo was closed and kids were too young for Space so thinking that DH may want to do these rides first.

On our last visit we did Nemo during MM. Of course, we spent nearly the whole hour doing it and we were even on the first sub. I don't know if they had an issue or what, but the first sub did not start boarding until about 40 minutes into MM. Having said that, i would not spend the time waiting when the line was longer so we thought it was a good use of one MM.

Afterward DD went straight to SM and hardly had a wait there either.

Thanks so much. I was thinkin that we could start w/ Nemo and then do Space and then BLAB.

The only reason why most people prefer to do Fantasyland is because you can always do BLAB or Space with a short line using FP later in the day. There are no FP attractions at Fantasyland, so MM is an ideal time to ride those with very short waits. Also, if you want to do Nemo, be warned that it loads slowly and it is a long ride itself, so you could spend 30+ min just on Nemo, whereas in the first 30 min you can ride 4-5 Fantasyland rides.

If you want to do Peter Pan or Dumbo...you really need to do them after Nemo....otherwise the lines get WAY to long....same with Matterhorn NO FP for those rides!

Yeah, it's whatever you want to do.

I also wasted an entire magic morning on Nemo once. However, at least I went on it, as I will probably never go on it again.

Typically, I like doing the fantasy land rides as I honestly refuse to wait in any lines for them later in the day.

Can I ask why you said you would not ride Nemo again? I ask because I am claustrophobic and am afraid this ride may bother me.

Tight spaces bother me slightly, but I just tried to enjoy it. I thought about the history of the ride, and the generations that have now ridden it. I enjoyed trying it out again after the decade+ absence.

Yes, it's a bit tight, but it just didn't have much disney magic to me. Honestly, the small space didn't bother me too bad, the dirty windows and rather primitive things you see out the window just leaves me wondering what I'd look for on a second ride on this. Honestly, it just feels like the old attraction with a new name.

In ten years, I might ride again..

We usually do Matterhorn and Autopia. The line for Autopia moves so slow..........

Then we go to Peter Pan, our kids don't care too much for that whole nemo experience.

We (just got back from Disney) did Space Mountain twice. Then we did Peter Pan, Matterhorn, Snow White. We never did Nemo the lines were too long and I hear it's just not worth it.:cutie:

If you think you can't do Nemo on the subs then do Nemo in the viewing room instead. It's the same video as the ride and you're not in a sub, just ask a CM to direct you to the viewing room. The viewing room is for people who cannot navigate stairs (wheelchair bound) or those who feel that the quarters of the ride will be too tight. :) that said I love the subs, I too have a dislike of tight quarters but I find if I put my face right in the window and have the fresh air blowing on me then I'm absolutely fine. :)

OP I would do FL first, then get FP for Space & BLAB as soon as I could, I would ride Nemo as my last ride of the day, we tend to get into line for Nemo at about 11:55 or so. Of course if you are staying on site and have access to more then 1 MM then I'd do Nemo one of those days and FL they other. :)

I was going to suggest the viewing room, but the previous poster beat me to it. :)

I prefer the viewing room (or "Remote Viewing Outpost", I think they call it). I'm neither claustrophobic nor have trouble with stairs, but I just don't find the whole submarine experience very appealing - you're sitting hunched over trying to see out of this tiny little porthole. You see a whole lot better on the HD screen in the viewing room, and you still hear all of the audio. Plus there's very rarely much of a wait for the room - unlike the subs themselves.

Is Autopia typically not open during MM hour? I was there in early July and had to wait for it to open at 8am.

We must have done BLAB 4-5 times during MM after I did SM. We got off and right back on. No lines at all last October. It was our 2 yo favorite ride.

We have always done Matterhorn first after that we head to Autopia and it has always been open. We never go during summer months so I couldn't tell you if there is a difference in the opening time of the attraction :confused3

We always go straight to NEMO, then to FL for Dumbo and Peter Pan, using the rest of the time to ride whatever.

One long visit we were able to do MM twice, so the first we did the usual as I just mentioned, then the 2nd day we let the crowd rush past us and we stayed on Mainstreet and took photo's of an almost empty mainstreet, shopped, got coffee, ate breakfast. It was quiet as a church mouse. We loved it!
