Just wondering if anyone has bought these tix, with transportation from Disney property & how it was? Buses run often? Did you schedule the times or run every hours? Many stops at all the Disney hotels, etc.

We did this two summers ago and it went well. We used it 2 days. You do schedule ahead of time by calling. They picked us up very early at Old Key West and we made it to Universal for opening. I think on the way there we stopped at Pop Century and Port Orleans. Coming home there were maybe 5 stops, a few of them at Downtown Disney hotels. We didn't mind the extra time because we were tired and it was pouring rain. We rested on the drive.

You will need your confirmation to get on the bus AND a copy to get back on at the end of the day. The driver in the morning took the print out and we ended up standing around awhile when the evening driver had to call and make sure we were booked on the bus. There were about 5 families that didn't have their confirmation in the evening, so it was not very clear that we needed another or maybe the driver wasn't supposed to take the morning copy. Regardless it all worked out and I would use them again, but we always stay onsite at Universal now:)

I've done that several times and will probably do it again in Sept. I always buy way in advance. Then, the day before we want to go to US/IoA, we call Mears and make our pickup time. We usually leave WDW by 7:30. We've made at least one or two addtl stops, but nothing excessive.
But, going back can be longer. We usually give Mears a call about two hours before we want to leave. They then tell us what time to be at the bus stop. More often than not, I have gotten to the bus stop and been put in a van, not a bus. But, that van makes multiple stops...so it takes longer to get back to WDW. So, plan accordingly.

We used it last April on two days. It worked well. The shuttle picked us up from Pop very early so we were at Universal for opening. One night we had a late pick up because we stayed for the Blue Man Group. You call to schedule.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum that Goofy4tink did that is helpful: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2517318
