Anyone do the 5pm Candlelight Procession dinner pkg last December?

Just curious - if you chose to go to the 5pm show, were you offered mostly lunch ADRs? And were there fewer restaurants offered, too?

Looks like La Hacienda (doesn't serve lunch) and Trattoria are the only ones that didn't do a lunch last year, but Trattoria, Garden Grill, Captains's Grile, and Akershus also offered breakfast. If you do the 5 pm show, you wouldn't want an ADR much past 3 pm since you need time to eat and still get in line. It's not like you can do a 4 pm ADR, eat, and then just stroll into the theater last minute. You will still need to be in line no later than 4:30.

I had seen this link and read through it, but I thought for some reason I picked the show first (5pm) and then they would come back with what ADRs I could pick for that show, and I thought it had to be like 3 hours prior to the show. That's why I thought maybe I'd have to pick lunch.

Only reason I'm asking is that we would probably spend the morning in HS, then go to WS for our meal and then CP. But I didn't know if by picking the early CP show, they might say you had to do an early lunch or even a breakfast. I guess you guys are saying that we will still be able to make our own choice of restaurant/time for our ADR.

They sort of go hand-in-hand. For some, where they eat is more important and which show is less important. If you definitely want the 5 pm show, then yes, you would need to CALL and tell them you want a package with the 5 pm show and they will then walk you through what is available for that day. You can also do it online, but I think the computer asks you where you want to dine first and then tells you which show, so it might take longer to find what you want.

That's what I figured. I want the 5pm show because we have never done this before and I didn't want to pick a later show, where we would have to line up during the previous show, seeing parts of the show. I will figure on doing a lunch with the package. Of course this isn't for a year or two, but I gotta know the plan!!
