Am considering this as an alternative to Cindy's. Says it is Cinderella and her friends, how is the food and who are her friends? Thanks!

Well, we haven't been there in a while, but when we were at 1900 Park Fare, the characters were Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter (who was great, by the way), Snow White, Mary Poppins and others. The food is a buffet and was pretty good- we ate breakfast there, and it had your standard WDW breakfast buffet food.

We liked breakfast there, but didn't think dinner was all that great. I didn't think Cinderella showed up anywhere but the castle. The Princess Storybook breakfast at Norway in Epcot was very good, mayber consider that.

If you you are speaking of Cinderella's Gala Feast dinner buffet, we just did this a couple of weeks ago.

Had a great dinner. Cinderella. Prince Charming, both of Cindy's mice Suzy and can never remember the other one's name. The Fairy Godmother was in the "lobby" and you got to meet with her after checking in.

Dinner characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla (mice) with the Fairy Godmother in the lobby. Breakfast characters are Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, a couple of Pooh characters and sometimes Mary Poppins, from what I've read.

We're doing the dinner in a couple weeks, can't wait!

We're doing this in Nov. also and can't wait. We are waiting for PS for CRT and /or PSB, but if those don't come through, this will be great!

While we stayed at the Grand Floridian for eight night we ate one dinner at 1900 Park Fare and we all enjoyed it.

Cinderella, Prince Charming and her mice friends made the rounds...maybe the Fairy God Mother too. I'm not sure of the Fairy God Mother since we say her a lot during our trip and during my 3 year old daughter's Wonderland Tea Party...held within the 1900 Park Fare too.

My daughter got all serious and chatty when Cinderella visited our table. I think they liked my daughter since they frequent by on numerous occasion to say hi and wave. This dinner made her day.:hyper: princess:

I thought the food was great (above average) for a character dinner. I went back two to three times for more. They also had a childs buffet area too that the kids loved.

I would go back for dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the future.

1900 PF breakfast buffet is the best one we've had on property.:earsboy: The quality of the food was a notch or two better than some of the others.:earsboy:

Cinderella goes to this dinner hence the name Cinderellas gala feast. You will also find the fairy godmother, the prince and Suzy and Perla the mice. We have been twice and are going again in a few weeks. This dinner is a must do for us! The food is better then any other character buffet at WDW.

We had breakfast there on Friday, September 3. The food was okay but DH was looking forward to the custom omelets. Unfortunately, they were not making them that day. We had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare on our honeymoon 5 years ago and loved it. However, this time was a dissapointment. The characters were Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger, and Mary Poppins.

I'm glad to hear the good things about 1900 Park Fare.
I just made my PS for dinner on Dec 11th today.
The CM told me that the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella and the Prince were out in the lobby while the mice in the dining area with guests.

I'm really looking forward to this. It will be our first night there. Not only do we get what sounds like a nice dinner, but we'll get to ride the monorail to Grand Floridian from MK, and I get to see the GF's holiday decorations. Can't beat that for a first night (can you tell we've never been before? lol).

Actually the only one in the lobby is the fairy godmother. All of the others happily circulate the room for autorgraphs and pictures.

Just made reservations for my birthday dinner on Dec. 9th. I am looking forward to it. Is it a little over the top to wear a tiara?

Had gone here 2yrs ago when winnie the pooh and friends were at the dinner food was very good we also have ressies for this as an alternative for crt on mon dec 6th although i was able to snag a crt for our last day in the world but what a way to end the trip
If you like prime rib they have a carver there who will basically carve whatever you want mmmmmmm prime rib

anyone who is celebrating bday or other here be sure to let reservations know when you book you may be surprised my dw and sil 2yrs ago were celebrating bdays and were presented with cupcakes brought out by the characters and sung to by all wait staff, pretty cool ,our son said he wished it was his bday

We did the Cinderella dinner last year (July 2003) and it was super. The food was very good and the characters were great. They took their time with each guest and just made a wonderful evening for my 6 year old.
