Anyone clean up at Yankee Candle today?

I'm speaking specifically of the YC store.

They were having a buy one get one free sale! Lots of great scents, I got Tangerine, Winterland, Key Lime Pie and another Mistletoe all in the large jar candles.

Also got some cute little basket gift sets and candle toppers, all for 1/2 off!

I was there at 8am.. things were going fast.. I stuck to Tarts - $1 each & after 18, .50 each!!

I went to the local YC store...I swear they had taken about 1/3 of the stock off the shelves....only "holiday" scents...no lavender, lilac or anything like that. They didn't know what was on sale....it was just bad.

check the budget board before going to the mall -- there's a printable coupon for $10 off $25 or more. I hit the mall thismorning, but i'm going back tonite or tomorrow for this one I think!

I bought 4 of the houses that were originally 20.00 a piece for 5.00 each. I also bought a tart burner & 2 chrsitmas votive holders. I only spent 40.00 for over 100.00 with of stuff! I had a ball!

I'm waiting. At the Yankee Candle store closest to me it is so insane that they have a uniformed police officer there. I'll wait until tomorrow or Wednesday as they keep restocking. And I agree, I believe they DO clear their shelves!

The shevles in my local store still had all the same scents that were there way before Christmas. All of their sale stuff was up front in the store.

It took awhile but just got all the unwrapped votive scents I wanted online....99 cents apiece...for $5.00 S&H it was so not worth the drive to the "next" mall...about 15 miles away instead of 1!

Is anyone having problems with their website? Yesterday, I placed an order - ordered 5 of the $11 jar candles. Won't swear by it, but I do believe I got a confirmation number - but the email never showed up. Checked my account at Yankee Candle this morning - nothing was there. Alright, I'll try again. Of course, this time, I ordered 9 of the jar candles. Same thing has happened. This time I KNOW I got a confirmation number - wrote it down and everything. But again, no email, no history of it online. Should I call?? I don't mind if both orders eventually show up, I'll use the candles, but just wondering if anyone else was having the same kind of problem.

I asked and was told that the buy one get one free sale would last until mid-January. So if you don't make it there in the next few days, don't fret!

Only problem I see with that is what "good" scents (scents that I prefer) will be left in mid-January in the large jars. I saw one woman buying, I kid you not, 40 large jar candles! They were putting them in egg crate looking things to carry them out to her car in!

I had placed an order yesterday with problems, and this morning when I was trying to place another order, the system kept shutting down and doing weird things, so I had to phone in my order.
