I'll be leaving this Wednesday as a chaperone on our high school's senior class trip to WDW:cool1: . We will be participating in Disney's Grad Nite:cool1: .Although I've done 8 trips to WDW, I've never taken a group of students, or been to Grad Niite. We're staying at Port Orleans Riverside....flying down Wednesday, coming home Saturday and SUPER EXCITED!!!

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience chaperoning a group of high school seniors in the parks. I'd love to hear any tips or suggestions anyone may have. Any additional information on the resort would also be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Tracy in NC

I've never chaperoned a Grad night trip but mine was in 1995, and it was a balst but tiring even for a High School senior. We did't stay on property and was only in the parks the day of and night of grad night. I don't think anyone slept at all. I remember most of the Chaperones hung out with themselves and enjoyed what they wanted to, we had to check in every couple of hours. It will be fun enjoy:cheer2:

Hey there

I am also a chaperone to Disney's Grad Night this year -- we live in Florida so we are leaving Saturday morning...

From what one of the teachers told me that was a chaperone last year -- there is not too much to it -- you check the kids in and out and then make sure as you are walking around the park there is nothing "BAD" going on.

We have to attend a meeting after school tomorrow so if I get any more tidbits I will let you know..

I chaperoned a few years ago and it was wonderful! I think I had more fun than at my own grad night.

You get awesome perks!! When I went we got dinner at PI, breakfast at Crytal Palace and a few free goodies throughout the park. It was wonderful! I'm doing it again this Friday.
