Hi,
I'm a new user on this forum and I joined in to get a better understanding about this board.

Its me and my family planning on going to universal orlando on the end of june this year, It's going to be 7 adults and we plan on satying 3 nights. We plan on flying there then getting transportation to a hotel on site of the park so we wont need to rent a vehicle. So my question is what is the best package for us and where can we get this package.

3 nights
7 adults
tickets to the park
hotel on site
& most important airline tickets

so is there a package for all this in one or just a package without the airline ticket, if anyone can give me some tips or info it would help so much, thanks everyone! :cool1:

Hi,

First of all, you might be a little late in your planning to get exactly what you want, but I know you can find something! For example, someone posted recently that Hard Rock is fully booked that week, although you might be able to find availability through Expedia or other travel sites.

For airline tickets, I would recommend a visit to www.mousesavers.com and using the transportation link there to find details about finding the best airfare. It is almost ALWAYS cheaper to book air separately from the other parts of your trip. A lot depends on where you are flying from. Many people find the best prices on Southwest, if that is available to you.

I am far from an expert on packages to Universal. For our family, it is cheaper to book everything separately, as we are eligible for a military discount on the room. Also, many of the good deals going on at Universal right now involve children age 9 or younger, which we don't have. I did find a good Mastercard deal (buy 4, get 1 free, $99 for 5 day passes even though we only need 3 days) for our tickets. I'm sure others here on the board could offer more advice about the package deals. I know there are some out there!

Good luck and have fun ~

One more thing -- for transportation from the airport, I recommend a van service for your party of 7. We are using Sunray transportation because so many on the boards highly recommend them, but there are many choices. Take a look up in the Transportation board for recommendations (there are also airfare threads on that board as well!). Hope that helps ~
