I know Orbitz is a reputable site, and maybe I'm being paranoid, but I'm looking at spending a lot of $ on non-refundable tickets so I want to be certain there aren't any issues. Also, I didn't see an option to email customer service. Thoughts?

Orbitz customer support number is 1-888-656-4546. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the site-in the tiny print area- it has a customer support section with several FAQ's and info. Hope this helps and Have a Great Trip!

Thanks for taking the time to respond.:)

I found an email for customer service and decided to go that route so I would have something in writing. This is the response I received:

"I definitely understand your concern, if the voucher said that it must be redeem between June 16th. and June 30th.
You will not be able to use it.
One of our main goals is your satisfaction, and it is gratifying to know that we were able to exceed your expectations.

Email Customer Service"

Yikes. They misunderstood the question (the dates were on their website, not the voucher), used incorrect grammar, and tacked on that odd last line about exceeding expectations. Doesn't exactly give me confidence in Orbitz. Guess I will be purchasing my tickets somewhere else.

i had to contact their CS once and had issues. in the case of a reply like that i would reply or send the chain to them again, and point out the issues with the email and say you want to talk to a supervisor. hopefully you will get someone that can do more than put 3 random sentences together.

i wonder if it really is possible they are selling old vouchers or the dates rotate during the year. :confused3 you also could try contacting universal for information.

I would ask on the Universal forum. I swear there was recent discussion of this, but cannot find it.

molly, wasn't it on the DL forums. something about an upgrade from the 3 day to the 5 day but a discrepancy about the expiration date?

I found the thread on the Disneyland forum. VERY helpful. They have the same issue w/ DL tix. Looks like multiple people are calling and getting different answers. CS doesn't seem that great, as there are reports of calls not being returned, cases opened w/ no resolution, and supervisors not knowing what they were doing. Orbitz refunded the tickets rather than change the terms in one case. I hate to pass up a deal, but there's too much risk here for me. Thanks for directing me to the thread! Makes me feel like I made the right decision. Hoping people who read this will read the fine print before purchasing.

Glad to help point the way, even if I pointed in the wrong direction. I knew I'd seen that discussion somewhere, though! :)
