Hi there.
As my half term trip fast approaches my thoughts have turned to passes/ tickets.
I have a shareholder card which I intended to use to get a discount on Fantasy Aps but now having read everyones fantastic TRs I think we would be better with Dream passes to get EMH......

Has anyone tried to get the passes that are available from the french ticket website (for the same cost I can get Dream passes rather than Fantasy Passes)

How did it work?
Any problems at the turnstiles?

Many thanks for any advice.....

Hello !

I have tried to get an AP over the French site last year and it do not work for me. :confused3

First I can´t understand any French (even English is hard as you can see :rotfl:) and then there are no other countries available than France.

I did this:

I have bought a AP by post. I filled this out and sent it together with a copy of my shareholder card, a copy of my passport and a nice picture of me.

http://offres.disneylandparis.fr/FR/FR/Distant/Images/bon-de-commande.pdf

I know it is in France also, but I found an internetsite which shows all in German ! :thumbsup2

It is easy to fill out and I could try to help you (Translating everything from German to English). :grouphug:

It works very good and some days later my AP with Shareholder discount (15%) arrived by post.

No problems at the turnstiles and a lot of fun inside the parks !! :rotfl2:

If you need help or more infos...let me know. :thumbsup2

Sorry to hijack the thread but is there a way to get a discount on the fantasy AP without being sponsored?

:confused3

Hi there all...

Many thanks to those of you who replied.

It is interesting that so few of you could say that you had bought an annual pass from a website such as paris billets.com http://http://www.paris-billets.com/fiche_spectacle/disneyland_passeport_annuel_dream_votre_mail_ne_vous_sert_que_de_validation_de_commande__6777.php
where I can get dream passes for myself (with my DD2 free as she is under 7) and my DD1 for E300 whereas at Disneyland Dream Passes for the 3 of us would cost E510 (with our shareholder discount)

The thought of saving £200 is SO TEMPTING.....But the thought of wasting £300 is REALLY SCARY!

I was hoping lots of you would reply and say you had done this and it worked a treat......

Don't know what to do now!

Am sort of erring on the side of caution.....

If anyone HAS got any news on this website I am sure I'm not the only one who'd like to hear it.

Many thnaks.

I did a search and up popped this thread - not sure that it will really be any help but I'm afraid it's the only recent one I remember on this subject.

We have bought 2 adult APs & 1 child under 7 for 298euros off the site mentioned in the thread Elaine has shown but we haven't used them yet as we go May half term.

I didn't understand all the french so I got my sister-in-law to do it as she speaks fluent french. She had to pay a 20euro fee to subscribe to the site first. She also checked out how legit the company was first, (not sure how) & was happy they were OK. Also, people on Disney Central Plaza seem to mention only paying 149 euros for there Dream APs from sites like this so we went for it!

Bit surprised when she received tickets in the post though as I had expected e-tickets that you print out at home??

Hope our gamble pays off:)

Like I said on the other thread, I know people who have used it (the CE multiadvantages site) for hotels without any problems. They are also affiliated with TO's that I have worked with in the past - Go Voyages, Donatello,Fram et Marmara - and they are all legit companys

We had no pbs with our passes from the Vente Privée site and renewed them earlier this month in the park and got the extra 6 months even though we had only paid 79€ for them to start with.

Seeing the number of people that use them and I've not seen any complaints anywhere I don't think you'll have any problems with them

Re them coming in the post instead of e-tickets, more and more companys are going back to doing this here to cut down fraud :)

Thanks to you all- especially Carrie Cat (who I am sorry I hope she isn't getting sick of answering questions from us over the pond)
I may give it a try now!

I will let you know what I decide!
:confused3

A quick question for CarpGirl- How did the tickets look when they arrived? I thought passes were supposed to have photos on them? does it look like its an entry ticket that you exchange when you get there?

Many thanks.

If it sounds and looks oK I may go for it.... the thought of 'free' EMH is calling.......

I haven't seen them yet as they were sent to my sister-in-law but she says they look like normal park tickets:)

Hi all

An update on this as I thought this may be interesting for someone....

I decided to go for it and bought 2 Dream Passes (and 1 free) on 2nd May with my credit card. Total cost just a shade over £300 on my Credit card

I emailed straight away quoting the website offer to make sure I got my free pass for my DD age 3.

Whrn I had heard nothing the next day I emailed again (in panic mode by now using google translator) several times.....:eek:

On 4th may I had a very calm email checking my details and confirming DD2s date of birth and name.

On 6th May I had a very confused :confused3:confused3 and probably irritated response to my multipkle badly worded panic emails..... I used Google translator to apologise for panicing! :lmao:

On Monday 9th may I had an email saying they were going oin the post.... they arrived this morning!

They look and feel like 'normal' disney tickets to me. They state they are Temporary Dream Annual Passes and to be exchanged for the real thing at the Annual Passpoprt Office at DLP.

Hopefully Fingers crossed EMH here I come!!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Plus at Xmas! :santa::yay::santa:

And at easter.........:dance3::dance3::dance3:

Today has now become a good day as DD2 has been VERY poorly with chickenpox, and this cheered me up no end! At least she didn't have it whilst we are there!

She spent all day dressed as Sleeping Beauty though!

Thanks for the update, I'm sure you're feeling much happier to have the tickets in your possession.

Can I just ask three things:

Is there a date of any kind on the tickets?
Does it say anything on the tickets to say how many days they are valid for?
Which company did you get them from?

Many thanks and have a great holiday.

Hi there.

I bought the tickets from Paris-Billets.com

They are printed on the back in the same way that 'normal' DLP tickets are:

They all have a final date for exchange (the dates are all different but are AFTER we go either June or August 2011)

When I booked/ bought them I had to enter into the website the date I wanted them for.

They all have what looks like a license number on the back for the selling company and a 4 digit stamped number as well.

Since I have bought them I have been getting emails every week about concerts in France...... in french! The company seem to mainly sell concert tickets.

It seems I am on the websites mailing list, and I don't want to stop them as strangely getting french emails is quite funny! I am sure it will wear off!

I hope this helps.

Karen

This seems like a relly good deal!

We would want 2 adults, 2 under 7's tickets, so big savings for us.

I am only nervous as I have very limited French!

Was it easy to send the e-mail? Who did you send it to, and what details did they need.

We are not planning on going until October, can you put in dates that far in advance do you know? I notice on the website that the offer is on until July, so I may leave it a while longer to get them.

Sorry for all of the questions, thanks for your help!

I am also hugely interested! But my french is awful!! how do you go about this?? we really want to go next year and this would enable us to do so!

Hi there.

It really wasn't hard.
I used the contact box on the website for the email address.
"Cut and pasted " the offer fronm the webpage into my email and gave DD2 DOB and name.

For those who haven't tried it yet the Google Translator is fab! And you can use it to translate your email to them as well....

Although I'm sure CarrieCate and other would laugh- but its a damn sight better than my french!

I did translate and then translate in bacjk again to check it still made sense before i sent it.

I hope this helps someone. :goodvibes

Wouldn't dream of it  You've shown real initiative and you got a result :thumbsup2

I think Googles translations are hysterical though especially if you re-translate back into the original language

Carrie have you used them yet in the park? I just want some kind on confirmtation all will be ok... there are 5 of us, one of which is under 6... so would be a huge saving!

Hello, :goodvibes

Our passes didn't come from this site (Paris-Billets.com).
They came from Venté Privée and it was a flash sale sorry

Friends have used the Multiadvantages CE site without any pbs, that's the one that Carpgirl has used (see further up the thread) and she will be using her tickets next week so I imagine reporting back

If you are looking to buy your tickets for a next year visit I don't think it's worth buying any of these offers at the moment as they are only valid for a certain time after been issued :confused3
