..guess I'm excited to see who will be my cruising buddies.
This is our first cruise and we are so excited!! My hubby and I have 4 kids, and we are hoping that they will make long lasting friends!!
At time of sailing, our boys will be 14,6, and 4 and our daughter will be 8!!
Hope to make long lasting friends to while onboard!! We can not wait to spend some alone time too........We have always wanted to get away, but I was never quite comfortable leaving my kids........now it looks like we will all have the best of both worlds!!

Did everyone get a good rate. It looks kind of expensive for that time from on the Disney site. I told my husband I want to book our next cruise when we go in October this year(Will be my first). He can't make it so we're doing another so he can go. Maybe I should book now instead of waiting another 3 weeks.

We booked a category 6 stateroom with veranda, and a category 11 inside stateroom right across the hall. For my husband and myself and our four children (ages 14,8,6,4 and time of cruise)
the price was $3500.00. They are running a special through the end of September where you can save money off your cruise. We saved $125.00 off what there rates are normally. I have never been on a cruise, and I really don't know if that is considered cheap or expensive........I do know that we were in DisneyWorld last month and just the tickets to get into the park for ten days and spending money for eating, recreation and a few souvenirs was $5000.00!! So the way I look at it , we are saving money!! Thank God we are DVC members as we used our points to stay at the Boardwalk and reserved a 2 bedroom unit. I'd cring to think of how expensive that would have been!!
So looking forward to the cruise!! The kids will get the experience one again of Disney, and we can avoid the parks and have some R&R!!

Sorry, Michelle, but you won't have the whole ship to yourself! Our family of four is taking the cruise as part of the 4 night land/3 night sea package. We have a category 6 stateroom with verandah for the four of us ( two children, 8 and 3). Ten months seems like a long time to wait, but I know it will be here before I know it, so I've got to pace the excitement! Happy vacation planning!
