Has anyone booked with this site? Are they reputable? Any issues with customer service. The only reason I am looking is they take a deposit vs. the DLP site wants entire cost at time of reservation. Thanks.

I have booked twice with dlparisdirect.co.uk - they are reputable, they are part of the world choice travel company.

When I travelled previously with them, I got a great price and the holiday was extremely smooth. Things I liked were:

1) I never received any sales calls from them, either when the booking was active or afterwards

2) I loved that they offered the whole package including disney express - when I was on the eurostar a member of staff found us and chatted to us about our trip, provided luggage tags and asked if we had any questions. We didn't have kids with us but they were fantastic with other children in our carriage - although I guess the credit here is to the eurostar/disney staff.

3) I like that you could pay up and make any necessary adjustments for little extra cost.

I have booked a family holiday for 7 of us in July. I initially booked for 6 of us with no travel - just hotel, park tickets and dining plan but have since added another person and eurostar and they made it really easy.

Truth be told, I spoke to them about half a dozen times about potential changes and they were always patient and gave accurate quotes which didn't change much over time.

In a nutshell, I would recommend them.

If you call Disney you can pay 15% now and not have to pay the balance until 30 days before you arrive!

I had a different experience with dlpdirect.
They misinformed us about characters in the hotel. And ignored that in my email of complaint.
They also couldn't be bothered to respond to my actual email - they just sent me Disney's response, no apologies.
They also said the pool would be open when we were there and it wasn't.

I found them to be arrogant, unfriendly and disrespectful but while I say this I would also add mine is just one experience, not everything can always be perfect and run smoothly. I was also charged (when Disney don't) for upgrading!! I personally wouldn't use them again, I have since cancelled a booking with them but that isn't to say you wouldn't find them to be brilliant.

Yeah Kizzabel is right, while my experience has been very different. dlparisdirect did misinform me also about characters in the hotel but this was at the time that even on the forums the information was coming through slowly. It took me drawing it to dlparisdirects attension that the policy on characters in the hotel had changed.

Unlike Kizzabel though, I got a full apology and a free character breakfast at cafe mickey for our party - which they later also agreed to give to my extra added person who was added after the whole character in hotels drama which I'm not sure they had to do.

Interesting, I was given wrong info on the newport bay club renovations and what was open and what wasn't in a booking made with Disney directly which I think goes to show that very often service is down to the individual you speak to.

Good luck :rotfl2:
