Anyone been to the New Vero Beach Spa?

Do they give DVC discount? We had lovely massages at Jambo House, and got a great DVC discount. I also know they offer a DVC discount at Mandara at the Swan/Dolphin. I love me a good massage!

I am not 100% sure, but when we were there in October just before the spa opened, they told me there were going to be discounts for DVC.

Prices are a bit too high for me......$45 for a manicure......you got to be kidding me!

You are right. I pay that for a pedicure and manicure here in Kentucky.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but it has been my experience that most spa mani/pedi come with hand/foot massages. Also the surroundings tend to be more tranquil than a nail salon.

I called the VB spa recently to book a massage for June, and they sent me a word document with the services and prices. They apologized for not having it up anywhere online yet.

In looking at the prices, they are comparable to those at SSR or GF.

According to the description they do:

"Traditions Manicure-(30 min)-$45
Includes cuticle treatment and hand massage

Traditions Pedicure-(50 min)-$60
Includes foot and leg scrub and massage"

Is the Spa comparable to other Disney Spa's in terms of facilities, are there Male and Female change with sauna/ steam etc? Prices seem on par with what the big Disney Spa's are charging which is sort of ok if the facilities are comparable.

Wouldn't it have been nice if Disney would have sent an email to members saying, "Hey we have a new spa.... follow this link to see our services."

Well this is interesting news. I am on the waitlist for a few days in june and just might have to try the spa out.
