Not sure if this will get booted somewhere else. Has anyone been to this attraction? I havent heard much about it, in fact I havent been able to find any info on it. If you have been to it give me your honest opinion, is it worth going to? Do they have a website for more info. Any feedback would be great!

A friend of mine was in Orlando in November, with her DH and the nun she is friends with. They went to The Holy Land and really enjoyed it. I know someone else who went and they also liked it.

It always makes me think of that Simpsons episode with Praise Land!!

My parents went there a few months ago. Overall they said it was just OK. Their favorite part was their archive that has lots of old scrolls and manuscripts. They thought that part of the park made it worth the admission.

My mom just came back from there this week. Her Sr.citizens group from church went there on Ties. They all really loved it but keep in mind that they also have WDW prices. She said a hot dog was $7 and water was $3.

I have been a number of times and rather like it. I thought it was important enough as an attraction to devote a whole chapetr to it in my book.

I think that the park will appeal most to committed Christians. The pricing is now too high (IMHO) to make it attractive to the merely curious.

The Scriptorium (mentioned above) is quite well done but my favorite attraction is the Jerusalem 66 AD scale model. Every hour there is a talk that explains the geography of jerusalem at the time of Christ, tieing it into the story of Christ's Passion. Very informative, even for non-Christians.

During holy seasons (Christmas, Easter) they have pageants which seem very popular.
