We fly in friday and are looking for something to do that's not to expensive and relaxing. I say that there is a Historica Cocoa Village with shops, food places, art gallaries. Anyone know anything about this? And if any of the restaurants are good?

We also thought about going to eat at the cocoa beach pier for dinner. Anyone been here?

thanks

We have not been to the Old Village, but it is supposed to be a neat place to visit. It is on our list but never made it that far inland.

We love Cocoa Beach pier and have been there many times. Our favorite restaurant is Marlins, a casual place out over the water with a good view of surfers. The Atlantic Ocean Grille is highly rated and has a nice menu but is pricier and a bit dressier. Another place that often has fun entertainment on Friday nights is Oh Shucks.

You can read more and see menus at www.cocoabeachpier.com

Thanks for the link. We will have a lot of time on friday. We get into MCO at 9am and we didn't want to spend to much money on doing anything on friday.

HIstoric Cocoa is completely worth the visit. PM snelsonbrown - she will help you out with restaurants in the village.

I vacation right next to the pier and can say that eating out on the pier at the Atlantic Ocean Grill is an awesome way to start any vacation - the windows sit out over the water and the sunset is just spectacular - not west coast, but still great. The pier has it all for a night out.

The beach is also beautiful.
