I never knew there was a Playhouse Disney Character Meal until the other day. They have JoJo and June (my daughter's two favorite characters other than Lilo & Stitch), but I've heard Hollywood & Vine is not so great.

Has anyone been?!

I've been multiple times. I have loved it every time.

I always love the food. It is probably my favorite of the breakfeast buffets. The character interaction is wonderful. They have lots of dancing and singing.

My kids and I aren't big watchers of Jojo or Little Einsteins so we are "attached" to those characters. But the experience is always fun.

I always eat there whenever visiting Hollywood Studios.

We enjoy the breakfast very much. It is a buffet with all the basics and they are good. We have been twice and we would go again. The characters are very interactive with the guests. Its a great way to start off the day.

I agree with what everyone said about the character interaction - top notch. The only characters we really liked were JoJo and Goliath, I think the Little Einsteins heads are too big and creepy, and that being said, they were very good with my oldest. My youngest wanted nothing to do with them... (good girl).

I am not a breakfasty person, so we made later reservations. That way, they were starting to put out the lunch items. That was satisfying to me.

We went 2 years ago and it was cool to see Jojo, my boys have since outgrown it but it was worth it to see them!!

Do it while you can! Is the best advice! :)

OK! I'm definitely in! Maybe I'll do the 1900 Park Faire too. (That was is for me! :rolleyes1 )

We did the breakfast and we loved it. We had reservations at 8:30 and it's was pretty empty in there so the Characters came by 2x each. it was great.

We did lunch and the kids just loved it. They were big Playhouse Disney fans at the time. The character interaction was a highlight. The only bad experience we had was with a waitress. She was awful and I actually reduced the tip (there were more than six of us). She ended up chasing us out of the restaurant because she said we had to pay the full tip. I wasn't giving in though, particularly as she had snatched a drink out of my husbands hand as he was taking a drink. I was soooo embarrased though arguing with her in front of the restaurant. But in saying that we are going back. DD (who will be 7) really wants to do it again. She is really a bit old for it but wants to do it and dd5 will love it again.

Yes, we ate there last August. We arrived 45 minutes before park opening. The food was excellent. The restaurant, though, was pretty empty. Since it's the only sit-down open for b/fast (at least during our trip), I was suprised. The character interaction was good. With WDW closing/scaling back so much, I'm suprised this is still open.

We ate there this past June. We had ADR's for 9 AM; right at park opening. Food was ok; typical breakfast buffet fare. We were seated right on the edge of the tables on the right as you walk in so had a front row seat for all the singing and dancing.

DS 3 LOVES Little Einsteins however, I can't comment on the quality of the character interaction because they freaked him out! I have some hilarious pictures. Yes, I'm the parent that takes pictures rather than comforts their child ;)

I would say do it; especially if you can get an early ADR for prior to park opening!

We did this breakfast also and it was fantastic. It was SSW and the place was empty. We actually had Leo sitting down with my son while he ate his food and played. The buffet was fresh and hot. We enjoyed our meal.

I love the Park Faire. It's my favorite of all the Character breakfasts because of the food selection and the environment of the room. Love the calliope. The characters there are amazing, too.

We did the breakfast and had a great time! Of course DD loves the Little Einsteins so we had the most fun just wathcing her have the time of her life! The character interaction was amazing we were one of the first seating had the place to ourselves and DD got to dance around with all her faves.

We did this last Nov. The best part about it was we had the first reservation of the morning, 8am. The park didn't open until 9am. So we were literally the first guests in the park that morning. I have a picture of me and my two girls walking down the street with no one else in site.:goodvibes

Of course you can't get to any attractions, but it was still fun to be first. The breakfast was ok, characters good if your kids are younger than 5. My 9 year old was not crazy about this one.

I did a big review of this with lots of photos several years ago, not long after it opened. If you are interested I can see if I can find it. Of course I have no idea if much has changed or not.

My son LOVES LE and my daughter Jojo so this was perfect for us! They loved the interactive show and of course, the time with the characters. It was also my DS b-day so he had a cupcake at 8:00 AM!

It is noisy but worth it!

I did this a couple of years ago w/ my sister and her 3 kids. We had one of the last seatings and the place was about 20% full. As a result, the kids got LOTS of interaction with the characters. They were still replenishing the food so everything was fresh and hot. I'd recommend it if your kids like those characters and would also recommend trying a later time slot.
