Anyone been to OLCC in the last few months?

We're going to Orange lake CC in Oct. wondering if the new pool area with the lazy river was done yet. If anyone has been there in the last couple months I would love to here about it. Thanks I can't wait to go....

Thank you I should have thought before I posted to check the orange lake webpage. They have pictures.... 4 months and counting till I'm laying in that lazy river I can't wait....

Lawgs has given you a link to a discussion on tug, so I can't really add much more to it. I believe that you will enjoy the new River Island section at Orange Lake. They were still working on some buildings and the new miniture golf section but I would expect these to be done by the time that you get there. I will be back in September (I'm staying at HGVC).

were they still putting exchangers into the River Island complex in hopes of getting them to BUY...

that was the party line that we were emailed back when we questioned what we were told on our tour in january ....that only river island owners would be in those units....

I was told starting June 1 that they will be enforcing the River Island owners-only will be able to able to use the River Island villas. And that starting June 1, exchangers will be using into the West Village. I was told the sales department was very upset when they found out that non-RI individuals were put in RI and that it was a thing of the past. Time will tell if this is how things will work out or not. I do think that they will rent the units out if they are vacate.

Any recent visits to Orange Lake? We will be there in November, and looking for any reviews.

We were there in May and River Island pool area was open and it looked to be completed. My DD8 thought it was one of the best parts of our trip. The North Village pool was also a very nice pool to hang out at to avoid the crowds at the new pool.

Did you stay in the North Village? In your opinion is North or East Village nicer? Just DH and I.
