Anyone been to Mickey's Backyard BBQ lately?

I went in June and had a good time. Food was good, company was good and the characters! We danced, line danced, and just enjoyed ourselves. Is that too far back? Do you have any specific questions?

Thanks ebaynut31. I think it sounds like alot of fun. I have a 9 yr old and a 2 year old. I had lookedat the reviews but most of them were the first of 2001!! Is it really crowded? I had read that you have to go through the food line first, can you send one to save a seat? How early should you get there? I also read that it was so crowded you could not get to the characters, has this changed?

We got there about 10 or 15 minutes early, picked our own table out, sat for a few and looked around, went to the food tables, went to the drink area, had some deserts, danced, saw characters. The characters come out every so often and you line up to see each one. It did get crowded but not too bad. If you don't have enough time the first round of characters, don't worry. they do come back.

I am going to my pictures at my www below. go there and I think you will see some of the bbq. My dd is dancing with two very light haired girls. Just look at their faces!

Just looked. guess I didn't put them on. I will do it after I come home from Disney on December 24th.
