Anyone been to Lucky Fortune Cookery since they changed the menu?

My son and I might be the only ones upset that they changed the menu, but we both really like it and ate there at least once each trip. I liked the Spicy Korean beef, it was my go to. Has anyone tried any of the new menu items? Any that seem good? The pork ramen looks good, but with the add ins, the cost seems high.

I liked the old menu too! As a vegetarian I appreciated that I could customize the bowl, and now it looks like I've only got one option.

Curious to hear reviews too. The menu looks like something DH would enjoy, he often complains about "all the burgers" we eat at DL. Which is totally not true, but maybe if I introduce some international cuisine he'll enjoy the food a bit more.

I’m sad about the change too! I haven’t eaten there with the new menu yet.

This used to be my go-to lunch when my kiddo was little - I’d grab it, close up the take-out container, and stash it in the bottom of the stroller while I pushed her around to fall asleep. Then I’d grab a bench in the shade and eat my fairly-healthy-for-a-theme-park lunch.

It was never very busy, so I understand why they made some changes, but still a bummer.

They WHAT?!?!?!?!

Oh no! It was the only place I ever found that had good gluten free teriyaki bowls.

Off to google the new menu.

Edit/Update: Whew!!! I breathe again. GF teriyaki is still on the menu.

Here's the link for those interested:

I also loved the GF teriyaki. I see it’s still on the menu. I’m hoping it’s still the same. Although, I see now that you can get veggies with the GF bowls now, and you couldn’t before, so that’s a good change.

Oh no!! I loved their Thai Coconut Curry sauce, I tried it on a whim and it was REALLY good. It seems like they keep changing the menu any time I fall in love with a dish at DLR! I'm still annoyed about Harbour Galley getting rid of the BBQ Chicken and Slaw Baked Potato. And now the Mark Twain at RBT is gone. And don't even get me started on Big Thunder Mountain BBQ! It's at the point where I don't really have any favorites anymore.

ETA: And unfortunately it looks like along with these changes have come a price increase. So frustrating.

I hope someone goes there and posts about it. We'll be in the parks next week and my son will probably still want to go because he always at teriyaki chicken, and that's like the one thing from the old menu they kept, even if it's no longer in the takeout container. I'm trying to figure out what I would get if we do go there.

Oh man, thanks for the link! Yum, sounds great. Hope the ramen is decent (my kids arent that picky with their ramen, and LOVE ramen, so this is a win for us) and a side of pot stickers! Cant wait to try it.

We used to love this place..

The new menu has no real taste.. Nice plating, but more expensive and for my family it came out cold. We got the ramen, chicken and kids chicken. Very salty veggies.

The kitchen is totally crazed and the people who take the orders have NO clue what to do and just walk back and forth, while the orders stack up and grow cold.

Ugh. Although I have to say that there always seemed to be a wait with the old menu when all they had to do was combine protein, sauce, veggies and rice. I can see how a whole new menu would make it even worse. It sounds like it's going to be a pass for us.

Yes, we went this past Saturday and it was pretty good. My husband and son tried the ramen and got one add-on to share between their bowls (mushrooms, soft boiled eggs and spicy miso) which was more than plenty. The ramen was good, had a hint of fishy taste to it, probably due to the Seaweed (nori?) but you could easily ask for it without if that is not your thing. I also tried the teriyaki chicken and pot stickers. Both were good, teriyaki chicken was mixed with veggies/sauce. Overall, we would eat here again and LOVED mobile ordering. Totally the way to go to save time.

I was there yesterday and also had the teriyaki chicken and pot stickers. I am not a frequent enough visitor to notice menus changing, but I will say that the food seemed fine to me. (I did want to use mobile order but couldn't figure out a way to make it work with a Disney gift card for payment.)

It is my understanding that we cannot use gift cards with mobile order. I hope they change that soon!
