Hi

I am thinking of booking a Lapland holiday for December. I imagine this will be Casey's last year before the real questions start.

Has anyone been? Would love to see some pics or stories. We are thinking of staying for 3 nights. A day trip I think will be too quick and too tiring. Considering we wont go again I want to do it properly.

Hi Michelle we went when the girls were 4 and 6, we went with Canterbury Travel for 3 nights 4 days and it was one of the best holidays ever, very expensive though, it was about £4,000 for the 4 of us it did include all activities, snow suits and meals though :thumbsup2

We stayed in a log cabin with an open fire and sauna which was gorgeous, each day we did lots of activities including skidoos, husky sleigh rides, reindeer sleigh rides, toboganning, ice skating etc On the way home we also stopped at the main post office place but were a bit disappointed by it and very glad we went for a longer stay!!!

I'm afraid all my photos are pre digital days, you could come round and see them though :rotfl:

Oh also even though Jess is 11 and a half she still really believes in Father Christmas and I swear it's because we went to Lapland :)

Great report Nat. Love the pics. I definately want to take my children. I had a quote for £2740 for three nights. A little horrified I was, but its a once in a life time thing and I will have a look into a day trip perhaps.

Was there much to spend your money on? If I did stay for three nights I am not sure what I would need to spend on other than food and drink. I think that hotel was full board. :confused3
