Just booked there for June at a pretty good price.
I've done some research and by all accounts gets a pretty good review (although it is a bit on the old side).
Anyone been there ?
I would be interested in your opinion.
One negative report I read mentioned about people sometimes making a bit of a nuisance of themselves in the pool late at night (people in rooms close by had hard time sleeping).
Does anyone have recommendations for requesting a certain quieter section of the Hotel ?
Thanks

we stayed there about a year ago. it was pretty good but showing some signs of wear.

the pool was great but the hottub was full constantly!

just ask for a quiet room not facing old town!!!!!!!!!!!

any questions pm me!

We stayed there but it was a few years back. Everything was clean and fine and our room was near the back and very quiet.

We have friends that stayed there last winter. It was acceptable, not upscale but clean. It is close to lots of restaurants and you can walk to Old Town.

As to people in the pool late at night, that depends on who is staying there when you do.

Just go and enjoy.

I just stayed there last week. I personally would not recommend it. It was clean, but quite run-down. The free shuttle has a few quirks that are not pleasant! If you do decide to stay there, DO NOT get scammed by the people that sell tickets at the hotel! If they try to get you to go look at a time-share so that you can get free tickets, don't do it! We did get a free Sea World ticket but it screwed up our morning at MK.

We stayed there for 2 weeks July 2003. It is older but clean, the price was excellent ($65 per night) and we loved it. The staff was great especially our breakfast waiter Sam. He gave our girls tokens for the arcade everyday and did alot of little extras for us like put whip cream on the top on the girls chocolate milk, and alway took the time to ask us what our plans were everyday. We still keep in touch with him now that we are home.

We were on the second floor overlooking the pool closest to the lobby. That pool was really busy. The laundry room is by the other pool and it was really quiet. The breakfast buffet was really delicious and was included with our room. The night manager had offered to let us stay in a kidssuite for a night at no additional charge to see if the girls would like it but they became homesick so we left a couple of days early before that night came.

I also found the location very central. I could go on and on. We are planning on going back to the same hotel for 3 weeks in 2005.

Oh yeah, I agree with RC Fan. Stay away from the timeshare gimmicks. We ended up going to Orange Lake. Suppose to be only 90 minutes. Ended up 4.5 hours. I never lied so much in my life to get out of a place.

Hi peigirl!

Yeah, I hear ya on that one. What a drag that was! There were a few people who were quite upset.
