Anyone been to GWL Victoria long weekend in May?

I spoke to great wolf lodge and was told that the outside pool area opens this weekend (Victoria Day long weekend) if the weather is nice enough.

Has anyone been there this weekend when the weather was warm and if so, WAS the outside pool area open?

Friends of ours were there that weekend this past year, and yes, the outdoor pool did open that weekend. Their kids were among the first in the outdoor pool in 2009! They loved being there that weekend!

We've been there the past 2 years on Vic Day and it's hit or miss. At times, the door was open and the pool was open, and then closed. It depends on the weather; when we slipped into the pool for a little bit, it was definitely warmer in the water than out.

I've been to GWL once during the summer but many times during the winter. I was really looking forward to going in the summer. I thought their outdoor pool contained more than it actually did. Plus the kids wanted to stay on the waterslides inside so that's what we mostly did. They did have a DJ/Entertainment Guy set up outside and he played a few games every 30 minutes or so. Still it's just such a thrill to be swimming in the winter that we're going to stick with going then from now on.
