Anyone been to first night of MNNSHP?

Just a coincidence, but the first MNNSHP is our last night at Disney. (9/4)
Is ths worth going to with 8 and 10 year olds? I can't imagine it will be very busy will it? Can we buy tix that day? I know we might be too tired to do it, but it also might be a neat way to end the week.

Have not been on the first night. We have been in Sept.

That will be our first day at WDW and we are thinking of taking our 11 and 8 year old. It looks like fun.

I have been on the first night and loved it. I don' t know that it is any different then the last night. We are going back again this year and can't wait for the mnsshp. You can enter the MK early around 4pm or so. If you don't have park hoppers you can visit another park during the day and do MK at night. My son 3 at the time trick or treated his way through the park. The parade and fireworks are great! Spooky music was playing through out park. The lighting on the castle made it appear haunted. The headless horseman was really cool too! Alot of fun !

I did buy my tickets ahead of time. I ordered them over the phone and picked them up at the front desk of our hotel. The park was busy but not as busy as it was during the weekend. We did not wait long for rides. This will be our third time going on our last night great way to end the week!

We went on the first night in 08 and it wasn't too busy. I'm sure you probably could buy tickets that day but if you really want to go I would buy them in advance. I love MNSSHP and can't wait for my poor 5 year old to make it to one. He's the only one in the family who hasn't been to one now!

We went the 1st day in 2007 and my kids were 8 and 10. Unfortunately it rained and stormed for hours, so a lot of the special things were cancelled. We did get a full refund, though!

I wouldn't hesitate to try it again!

We went on the 2nd night last year (Sept 9th I think) and this year we are going on the first. I am so excited and think your kids are the perfect age to LOVE it!!

We were the Flinstones last year - Fred, Wilma and Pebbles. I do not know what to do this year, but plan it to be something COOL!! It is hot there at that time of year and you want to be comfortable!!
