HI

debating whether to go club again - even though i said i never would:rolleyes:

there are no queen beds avail for RPR in the club only king- HRH has queens but the cost would be $80 more per night

anyone have any opinions as to which club they prefered: RPR or HRH

or.....

even a little review to tell me about HRH club

i just don't know what to do???

help:p

I wasn't impressed with HRH Club. The breakfast offerings were good, the evening offerings were gross! Mini hotdogs, gross meatballs, cheap stale cheese, ect. What made it worse was the food hounds that lined up 15 minutes before serving time. The lounge is small and you feel crowded. Also found it gross to find grown men in their pjs and robes, while my little girl was scolded for not wearing shoes by the snobby lounge employees. Her sneakers were wet and I told her it was fine. While I understand there are rules, (even though it doesn't make sense to me, when grown men were walking around in boxers and slippers), tell me she needs to wear shows, not a five year old little girl! Those people really need a lesson in customer service. They always acted like they were doing you a huge favor and you were bothering them just by being there.

I think if you do a search on HRH Club Level you will see a lot of similar reviews. I do want to try RPR club though, the reviews have been much more positive. However, I do prefer the HRH (non club), to staying at the RPR. JMHO.

thank you for the honest review tigerlilly

i really did enjoy RPR club- but said i would never spend the money again to stay club- (but ya know it's a womens perogative to change her mind:tongue: )

i think we may just stay HRH in a standard room- i would like to experience different Universal hotels

how long ago was it that you stayed HRH club? just wondering if things maybe have improved......

thanks for your help:wave2:

We stayed last summer around this time. But, I have read numerous reviews since then saying the same.

That being said, I would stay club again if it was offered for free, I just wouldn't pay for it. The breakfast is very convienant and it was great to be able to get water for the day, soda, and nice to have a few cocktails if we were there at night. The problem is, we like to take an afternoon break and go back to the parks about five, so it is not worth it for us to hang around to get the mini hotdogs and cheese platter. My kids really enjoyed the milk and cookies at night though, and always ask when we go to the Hard Rock if we are going to the place with the cool lounge. I guess they have different memories than I do.
