Anyone aware of room disc for week of

August 24 on WDW property? I'm booking a last minute trip and I know I just missed a room rate promotion that ended 7/27. Has anyone had experience with getting any kind of room discount at the last minute? Thanks.

There are plenty of rooms available at rack rate. Some still had AAA rate available too. I will probably go AAA route. Thanks for your help.

This year is strange. I remember last year the rooms were so booked and there were no flights available on SW for my August dates last year. This year every fligt is available and there are rooms available at WDW. I still think you can get a good choice of hotels at WDW at least the last time I looked. I know last year there was construction on AK so that took up other DELUXES and of course air rates were less expensive( 1/2 of what they are now). But it still is strange.

I'm only half joking -- try asking for the "New Jersey Resident Discount."

I got a great deal by asking for the FL resident discount and that was only 4 days out from arrival.

I was on the disney visa rewards site. If you have a disney visa card then that would probably get you a code for the date you are looking for as long as you book the room on your visa card. It was for the values, carribean beach and old key west or saratoga springs. Hope this helps!

I did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I booked a last minute trip 8/23-8/25 and found a standard view room at POP. There are still rooms available as of today. I called to see if I could apply a code to my room at POP as I just purchased my first ever AP and was able to get my choice of POFQ, CSR and CBR for $99 a night or ASMu Suites for $133.00, AKL for $144, GF for $306; don't remember how much CR and Poly were but they were about 30-35% off.
