Anyone at Disney now? Any lovebug sightings? 😳

We just returned home Tuesday evening and I'm not sure why, but HS seems to be the LoveBug park.
Like others said, we saw some, but not like we did in May. They were thick in May. Haha

We were at Disney 9/16-9/23 and the kissing bugs were there but not bad. They didn’t really bother us.

Have seen a few around Pop and other places but we’re swarms of them at Galaxy’s Edge yesterday. This morning at GE didn’t seem as bad though. They seem to be more active as the day goes on and heats up.

Here now, a lot at Jambo and Kidani pool! We were at Ak yesterday and just waiting in line for bag check was AWFUL . We were at Boardwalk Villas earlier in week and no love bugs. Mid week at Wilderness Lodge, just a few. From what I understand since Friday, they are now here big time! We have been to WDW many visits, never saw them since we never have visited 1st two weeks of May or last two of September.

So early May is OK, but when in May is it just awful?

I was there second week in May and the amount of bugs was massive. Not too interested in going that week again.

They were swarming at the MK bus stops this afternoon. Yuck!

1st week in May this year was insane with love bugs.
Last week through Saturday, they were definitely 'there' and a little annoying but nowhere near early May.

Just left. This was my first encounter with love bugs. They were awful at the resort, but I don’t know that I saw any in the parks. Whatever they are doing in the parks to keep them away certainly is working. Wish they’d do it at the hotels too.

Saw some at Animal Kingdom, at entrance was worst, other than that not bad, Hollywood Studios was bad, Epcot none, but resort pools at Jambo and Kidani were bad, as was the balcony, rendered unusable unfortunately. Would never return during love bug season, which I am told is 1st 2 weeks May and last 2 of September.

We were there 9/17 to 9/24 and although we saw them it was very mild. Thank goodness! DS has a bug phobia and I was really worried!

I was there in April and they were very heavy. I saw a car in the rental return line that was so plastered, you couldn't tell what color the bumper was. They must have driven across the state.

I grew up in S. FL and they don't bother me but wanted to let you know the season is likely longer than you have heard.

They were horrible on 75 on the 21st. And we actually left the Kidani pool because they were so bad on the 24th. I did notice on the drive back up 75 on the 28th they seemed to be lighter. They seem to be pretty light around the monorail resorts the entire week we were there.
