Just wondering what it was like this past weekend. I can't imagine 15,000 people at Ko Olina each night. I know the folks at the Marriott timeshare were complaining about it.
I'm glad my stay doesn't start until next Saturday.
We arrived on Friday along with 15k of our closest Japanese friends. It was absolutely crazy. There were people sitting along both sides of the hall from the lobby to the elevators. There was a line from the gift shop to the lobby. My 7 year old had to go to the bathroom but the lines there were crazy as well. Luckily the CM's were exceptional in helping us navigate through the mess of people and even directed us to the Ka maka pool to see the fireworks that night
The concert was between lagoons 2&3 down by the marriott resort. We walked down there Sunday morning to see the stage. I've never seen a concert stage that big
Some fun rumor I'm hearing around Aulani is that the Kalepa's did more business in one night of the concert, than the entire summer! That sounds crazy to me too, so take that with a grain of salt. Maybe it's only concerning Duffys?
